How to filter brands?

Thank you for creating this cool plugin, I would like to ask how to filter available brands when clicking on product category, widget always shows all brands even though there are no products in it, This is distracting to customers.
On the contrary, I also want when clicking on a brand, only categories with products will be displayed, which is also very important.
