how to filter widget text in admin area

  • i am trying to find a filter that will allow me to manipulate a widgets text in the admin area. i found widget_text but it seems to run when displaying on the site, but not the admin area.

    i also found a filter to let me modify the text when saving widgets.

    what filter or other method can i use to modify widget text as it it being loaded into the admin?
