how to find a plugin & hack wordpress expert

Hi there,

I don’t know how this essentially should work but in short I got my shared hosting website kicked offline for being to busy apparently so moved to vps which shortly crashed multiple times – my host has said I have likely been hacked and sent a screenshot of some processes (I have no idea what is a normal amount) but apprently mine was large – and it was probably done via a hack –

Im quite wordpress shy in terms of code, updating security & back ups but have done some but really don’t know how to firstly identify if I have been hacked and secondly the steps to take –

does anyone know the rough cost and where to find an expert to go through the whole process with me (i.e. identifying – then downlading – doing whatever I have to do to get off the hacker – seeing if certain plugins are bad – getting the site back up etc)

As I really have no clue and now run a business from it I cannot afford to get this wrong

P.s. I know I should have been more contious however did an unexpected growth rate meant that I was not prepared as much as I should have been
