Hi, I hope this message finds you well.
I want ask help to understand how I can find my own topics created in a plugin or theme support forum here on www.ads-software.com. Seems I don’t find any filter and any link to find my a list of all my own post created in a specific plugin or theme support forum here, on WordPress.

If this is not possible, would possible to suggest this feature?

  • You can search the plugin’s or theme’s name on your “Topics Created” page: https://www.ads-software.com/support/users/peopleinside/topics/

There may be a few false positives, but it’s the closest you can get (methinks).

    Hi @peopleinside,

Seems I don’t find any filter and any link to find my a list of all my own post created in a specific plugin or theme support forum here, on WordPress.

I too think it’s a good suggestion. It might be more helpful for community members engaging seriously in the WordPress support forum. I think there are three ways to suggest a WordPress feature.

    • By creating a new ticket in WordPress Trac.
    • Through request and feedback forum.
    • Through the repository of WordPress in Github. We must select a specific repository related to our suggestion to do this. Then access the ‘Issues’ section and create a new issue by describing more about the feature you will suggest.

Hope development of team of WordPress will consider your feature.

    Best Regards

@gappiah thanks for your reply but this is not useful to me. I already know about profile and activities and this just show all topic created everywhere. With time will be impossible understand something related to a single theme or plugin forum.

@jazeelmuhmd thank you very much for this kind and detailed reply. I created a ticket here: https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/61966#ticket , I hope will be considered by the team.

    Have a nice day ??

Typing the specific plugin’s or theme’s name into the search box on the profile page mostly works for me. But to each their own.

And I may be wrong here, but I don’t believe Trac or the GitHub repo is the appropriate place for this. My understanding is that those are for WordPress core development — the WordPress software itself. The issue at hand relates to the forum software, which is powered by the bbPress plugin (with a lot of gravy on top). There’s nothing to do in the WordPress software itself to address this issue.

Thanks for the additional info ???? I will consider it and I hope a function can be added in future by some WordPress team. It’s sad if there is no way to leave a feedback.

If you want to change the forum software, that would be done on meta.trac.www.ads-software.com, under the “forum software” component.
