How to find the original builder of my site?

    Two years ago someone built me a great site using modified WP themes. There’s now a problem where the portfolio page won’t move beyond page one and I need to get some help. I’ve lost their contact details though due to a couple of laptop crashes.

    Is there anywhere on the site within the admin section where the original builder would leave their contact details?

    Hope someone can help?

  • Can you provide the domain name of our site so it would be easier to figure out the developer ?

    If you cannot do that
    -> please right click in wesite
    -> do view page source
    -> find file name style.css
    -> click it
    -> If they have done it correctly their details must be above that file

    Just to clarify [ as I have never done this before ], if I go to the ‘view page source’ and then search for ‘style.css’. It brings up a list of options but I don’t see an email address? Maybe I won’t.

    Unfortunately they haven’t left their email address. Here’s the details in the theme:

    You want Le Collective, who edited the theme.
    The contact details are for the original developer, so if you have no luck tracking down Le Collective the original developer might be able to help you.
