how to find which plugin causes problem by changing youtube short code

  • Dear friends,

    i need your assistance regarding the following:

    When i publish a post and i have embeded youtube video with iframe source (eg <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxx" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> something is changing the code to [youtube https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxx%5D.
    The thing is that [youtube https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxx%5D does not work and videos cannot be played.

    This does not happen when the initial code of the youtube is https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxx, the code remains intact without any changes.

    The strange is that i have not installed any youtube plugins or short codes and i cannot realize what has changed recently so as to cause this behaviour.

    My question is howi could debug during post process to see what exaclty is being called in order to fix this.(i’ve already enabled debuggin info to the wp-config.php file but debug.log is not giving me that kind of info.

    Thanks for your valuable help, this drives me crazy!!

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
