How to fine tune URL, logo, menu, and footer
-
I’m researching these items, but coming up short. New to CSS, but I’ve been successful in making some changes. Can anyone help me with these issues?
1. How do I change my homepage URL from https://nocotherapy.com to https://nocotherapy.com/NorthernColoradoTherapyServicesLLC? When I try Pages>All Pages>Welcome to Northern Colorado Therapy Services, LLC – Front Page>Edit the page URL is unchangeable from https://nocotherapy.com. Can I use Settings>General>WordPress Address (URL) or Site Address (URL) without messing anything else up?
2. How can I reduce the padding around my logo? I would like the header space to be fairly tight around the logo to allow for better first view of full front page.
3. How do I reduce the height of the main menu bar? When I added the following Custom CSS:
.menu-header { max-height: 50 px; }
I had a nice size bar, but then there was a shadow (container issue?) surrounding the selected page. I deleted the CSS I had added and returned it to prior status.
4. Is there a way to make the center footer box a clickable link to the Contact Page?
5. Is there a widget or plugin that would work well to allow for visitors to increase the font size if they have visual difficulties?
6. Lastly, when I try to add a small text widget containing contact info to the top right of the page, the box appears within the bootstrap slider. How do I insert contact info to the top right of the page?
Thank you so much for any help you can provide! I’m grateful!
