Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host.

Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins:? https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus

Also, your SSL certificate has expired…

This server could not prove that it is wickedlondonguide.com; its security certificate expired 882 days ago. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

Thanks, my host have simply advised me to contact my developer – which is me…
I can’t access the backend of the WP-admin to remove plugins, so I renamed the plugins folder in the Cpanel

ps I have tried to reinstall the ssl but that won’t install – I don’t know if that is connected to the root of the domain not resolving.

The domain resolves. What’s in the log files and the WordPress debug log?

Please read the links I provided above an enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG.

    Thread Starter Gemini23

    (@gemini23)

    Thread Starter Gemini23

    (@gemini23)

    (@gemini23)

Sorry – I cannot see that file… not in that location.

OK, then something may be blowing up before the debug code can do its thing.

Still there should be something related in the site’s error log, too.

There are two installations of wordpress displaying in Softalicious
and there are also two databases…
one looks to be with very little content and the second with content similar to what I had (ie with woocommerce)

When I go to where the WordPress works ie wickedlondonguide.com/wp it has no content and uses the ‘no-content’ database.

I changed the name & password in the wp-config.php file to be what I think is the correct database the old content starts to display (but not correctly)

    ie https://www.wickedlondonguide.com/wp/

I think you really need to talk to your host as things (from the hosting side) seem pointed now to the wrong directories.

    Thread Starter Gemini23

    (@gemini23)

I had to change back to the incorrect database in the wp-config otherwise I could load anything on the front end.
