How to fix Error: "Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output."

    I was trying to add something to my website and I got this error message when I tried logging in.

    I also have this at the top of the page too……

  • It’s hard to identify the problem based on the information you provided. Were you adding PHP code?

    I was doing nothing. I was trying to login and I got the cookies error. Then trying to solve the problem I rename my plugin folder and tried logging again and got the warning at the top of the browser along with with cookie error above the login.

    I figured it out.

    Was it an easy fix? Others using these forums may benefit from your discovery.

    I’m having a similar issue and am very new to this. I am unable to login to /wp-login.php to make changes to my site. When I attempt to login, I receive the following messages at the top of the screen:
