how to flush cache when a post is edited or added?

  • Hi there, I am having a consistent issue whereby an editor creates a post and then checks the site and its not there, basically there changes in the backend are not being seen because the cache is not flushed obviously after an edit is made.

    I assume I should have the option “When a post is edited” checked to avoid this issue?

    There is an option right above this option called “When the home is refreshed, refresh even the” however I am not sure what it means to be honest and if it should be checked or not also?
