How to force Site Accelerator to refresh images?

That means we’re having a problem fetching the original image, so clearing the cache will just break the rest of the images you have left.

What is the URL of the site with the problem?

All of the images accessible directly on the original server. If I delete the “&ssl=1” at the end of the link, the image loads fine. If the image fetched without the ssl parameter it isn’t the same?

This images above are new uploads with another ~30 images around the same time. The other images loads fine, but these are give that error.

There is absolutly no way to force or trigger the redownload by me?

The images are loading properly for me.

Which browser are you using, and from which country are you browsing?

It doesn’t matter what browser we try. Does this mean there could be a difference based on geolocation?

Hm, my colleague based in Spain can’t see the images either, so yes there may be an issue with the cache in that specific data center.

I have flushed these two images, has there been any improvement?

Still got the same message (We cannot complete this request, remote server returned an unexpected status code (400)).

That’s odd, is it all images or just random?

About 1 or 2 of about 20 uploaded images will have this problem. Very rarely more.

I did not receive an answer to this problem via email. And one of your colleagues saw another problem in the template, but it is not related to this problem. Anyway, that problem has already been solved, but this problem still exists.

Is there really no way to self-service delete, update, etc. problematic images? I assume the support team would also have less to do if it weren’t done this way, if there was a button next to the image that could force the update.

Can you do a search of your email to see if it perhaps ended up in a spam or junk folder?

There is no way currently to self-delete images from the CDN cache. It is something that needs to be done on this end of things.

On the main page those images are randomly displayed posts. Some post has no uploaded featured image. I set the default image, and this problem is fixed now, but this is not related to the image accelerator problem.

I have the feeling that when more images uploaded to a post, for example 10 ore more, the problem is more likely appear.

I think the image accelerator have no servers in Hungary, and this traffic is international traffic, and possible limited by the isp.

Can you tell me, that error message which reported unexpected status is the image accelerator server or the server that hosting the site?

csonnek replied to you after that message. Since the information is not sensitive, I’ll copy the reply here:

That could point to your connection not being fast enough. If the page takes more than 10 seconds to fully load, our image CDN will time out and show that the images are missing.

I think you might be correct here. All those images work for me and the page you have missing images I see all of them, so an ISP block sounds more likely. Also, we have coworkers in Hungary and they don’t have trouble with Jetpack or WordPress.com access, so the likelihood of it being related to your ISP is high.

I would recommend disabling the Site Accelerator tools for your site since it doesn’t appear to be working properly at your location if you don’t want to investigate the issue with your ISP.
