How to get a category ID

If you’re just looking for a quick way to manually get the ID, edit the category at Posts -> Categories in your blog’s Dashboard. The end of the URL will look something like this:

/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?action=edit&taxonomy=category&tag_ID=14&post_type=post

In the above example, 14 is the category ID.

thaks for your reply but dat dint solve the problem. the categories are not still excluded from the recent post
