How to get access to traffic stats information

I’ve been using WordPress.com blogs for several years now, and have always enjoyed the traffic statistics tools that <name>.wordpress.com blogs come with. I recently set up a www.ads-software.com blog on sever space that I’ve rented, and I find that those tools are missing. Is there a way to get them back? Do I need to install a plug in of some sort? The only traffic status plugins I’ve been able to find are widigets to put on the front page which I’m not supper thrilled about doing.
