• My website crashed and my only access is to FTP. I now trying to build new site and I need to know exactly what were my description texts on the front pages and in the products.
How can I see that in the FTP folder? Which folder and file is the correct one?

are you asking about finding the stuff from posts, pages, custom post types, settings and other content?
if yes, then you can look in your database.
do you have access to your database in your webhosting account?
the area might be named phpmyadmin.
tables for wordpress content can be found in the database connected to your website.
the WP-Content folder in FTP generally contains themes, plugins and uploads.

might have been created in theme options area or as widgets. (just a guess since I don’t which theme you are using)

check in the wp_options table in your database for widgets
check in the wp_posts table for most post and page content
some plugins create custom tables and store content in there too
