How to get back in after lockout

    I got locked out of my site after only one failed login attempt — and got this message: Access denied. Your IP address [-snip-] is blacklisted. If you feel this is in error please contact your hosting providers abuse department. I deleted the plugin via FTP, but still cannot get back in. I see two tables in the database: [table names removed by comment author]. Should I try deleting these tables?

    UPDATE: Turns out that the message was from the host (Bluehost). Their BF attack threshhold is set very low right now due to recent WP attacks. The host whitelisted my IP and I’m back in.
