How to get Blogroll links to open in anew tab

  • The RSS Feed Checker plugin is doing almost exactly what I want it to but there is one thing I can’t get working: if someone clicks on a link in the “Blogs we follow” widget it opens the link in the same tab, I would like it to open in a new tab.
    In the “edit link” of the link menu there is an “target” option which I have set to “_blank” for all the links but it still opens in the same tab.
    I see that @susanlangenes had the same problem but I only sort of understood her fix because line 159 didn’t look it was a suitable line to add her ammendment.
