how to get correct spacing

    line-height is what i mean

    You can add the following css to change the line-height (replace 25px by the desired line-height):

    .dailyVerses {
    line-height: 25px;
}

    You can add the css to your template or to the bible verse of the day plugin css: /wp-content/plugins/bible-verse-of-the-day/bible-verse-of-the-day.css
