How to get custom fields to save default without editing?

  • Hi there – I set up custom fields with default values, and those default values aren’t saving, I have to edit the default value for the custom field to save. How can I get the custom fields I’ve set up to save all values on post save, using the default value if it hasn’t been changed?

    It works great on my local install

    Ensure that you have the latest Types 1.9 installed.

    When creating the Field, enter a default value and save the Field/Group.

    Then go ahead and create your Posts.

    The Default is saved and displayed correctly with the ShortCode if you save the post without editing that Field.

    If there are specific steps to reproduce this, please let me know.
