How to get english menus

    Plugin description says that it is “Translation ready. Italian and English for the moment.” So I’ve installed the plugin and it works great but menus are only in Italian. I’d like to know when and how will I be able to install or reinstall the plugin with english menus which would make it easier for me to understand and configure. Otherwise, great plugin. I guess my way through and configured my message in english and it works perfectly.

    The language changes according to the language of your system.

    If your system is not in English and you can navigate to the folder of the plugin (with filezilla), rename the English language with the default language.

    Help me to do the translation of the plugin in your language, thank you.

    One of my blog installation is in English and one is in French. Yet both of the times, the plugin installed in Italian.

    So I’m OK to use Filezilla and I found your language folder with better-stop-adblock-en_EN.mo, better-stop-adblock-en_EN.po, default.mo and default.po files but I’m not sure what you suggest I do next. Please advise. Thanks

    The language of your system on your PC.

    With filezilla rename:

    better-stop-adblock-en_EN.mo

    better-stop-adblock-en_EN.po

    with your operating system language:

    better-stop-adblock-(your operating system language).mo

    better-stop-adblock-(your operating system language).po

    language changes to English.

    Thanks. It worked for the French blog which I have at the root. As to my english blog which is set one level after the root(a sub folder of my primary blog), whetehr I change the letters to fr or leave them as en, it stays in italion. FYI. I’m OK to keep on using as is as now at least, I can go to my french dashboard to see the translation.

    HMM… My system is in English but this plugin stayed in Espanyol. I deleted all the other file inside language except english and default.mo

    I then rename English to better-stop-adblock-(your operating system language).mo and .po but still plugin is in spanish.

    any thoughts?

    Ok here is what I have tried and didn’t work

    Delete all except;
    better-stop-adblock-en_EN.mo
    better-stop-adblock-en_EN.po
    default.mo, default.po

    rename
    better-stop-adblock-en_EN.mo
    better-stop-adblock-en_EN.po

    to

    better-stop-adblock-es_ES.mo
    better-stop-adblock-es_ES.po

    didn’t work so rename again

    better-stop-adblock-es.mo / better-stop-adblock-ES.mo
    better-stop-adblock-es.po / better-stop-adblock-ES.po

    didn’t work. So I have no idea what to do to make it change to English

    Given that the plugin works with the language of your OS (Windows, Linux…) …

    Unistall plugin and reinstall it.

    Clear history and cache.

    done that too , still not changing to english. tested with 3 different browser firefox, chrome and Opera.

    Could you create a radio button so we could choose which language to use?

    You should define language in the wp-config.php file.

    ex:

    define(‘WPLANG’, ‘en_EN’);

    Soon I will do the translation with a dropdown menu ….
