How To Get Featured Image In Custom Fields

I would like every featured image to link to a differnt video.

I was told I could add a custom field to your posts and grab that value and use it as the href value in my php files.

I have NO idea how to do this. I don’t understand it. I’m ok with coding but I don’t know some concepts, especially custom fields. does anyone have instructions on this? thanks!
