How to get it to work with multisite

I am trying to figure out how to get this to work with multisite. I have set all of the settings on my blog and that seems to work fine, but it does not work on my child sites. I found this thread that might help, but I tried what they said to do (at least I think I did it correctly) and couldn’t get it to work.
