How to get link to media file to open in new window/tab?

    Right now it appears the option to have images in the gallery “link to media file” open in the same window and then they have to go back to get back to the gallery. How would I make it so it either opens in a new tab or in a new window?

    Would it be possible to get a link to a test page showcasing what’s happening ?

    That would be easier for me to understand exactly what you’d like to achieve ??
