How to get Login button or link to show?

Hi:

I’m sure this was working in the past, but I haven’t worked on my site for a while. I have updated the plugin and also deactivated and reactivated all other plugins to check for conflicts.

Is there a way to get a login button or link to show on a profile for a logged out user so that they can login from their profile page? The login button shows on the main directory page, but not once you click on an individual profile.
