How To Get My WordPress Site to Upgrade Automatically

    I paid to have a techie install a new theme, Vertex, on my WordPress site (hosted by 1and1). Now, I have no way to install new WordPress updates. I have 4.3 running right now, but there is no message or one-click upgrade available that I see on my dashboard to allows me to upgrade to WordPress 4.3.1. Is there some way I can fix this without having to pay someone else to do it for me? Thanks!
