How to get posts sent via email

  • I am a new blogger. I use the widget, contact form 1, for people to subscribe to my blog.

    I only have a handful of subscribers right now but I posted for the first time today and my post did not get sent via email. Am I supposed to subscriber to another widget to have the posts emailed to my subscribers?

    Sorry, I meant a subscribe form widget(NOT a Contact form)

    Is it supposed to notify subscribers of the new posts?

    If not, check out plugins, for example: Subscribe2

    First, identify which plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.
