How to get Recent Posts widget on Homepage

  • Hi,

    I’ve installed the recent posts widget on my site, allowing for only 2 specific categories to show up, but the widget itself only appears in the sidebar when the user opens a post.

    How can I make it so the widget appear in the sidebar on the homepage as well?

    -Are you using the builtin recent post widget, which is activated in the admin?

    -What theme are you using?
