  • Try setting up your own site name and tagline in Settings->General.

Same question… but I just want to make it invisible. My blog name and tagline appear in my header graphic and the text display is redundant… I just started looking for how to remove the text from above the graphic…

    how to links welcome
    unintended consequences warning welcome too.

    Go into SETTINGS
Delete fields in SITE TITLE & TAG LINE
    That should remove it.
I’m stumbled on how to move the image up after that?

Not really a good idea, for many reasons…

Best way really is to apply text-indent: -9999em; to the appropriate css selector to move those items off screen, while keeping them existing

Images would be moved up via your css as well, can’t provide much help without any info about your site….such as a link

That’s extremely bad advice SEO wise. Instead you should be using your theme’s CSS to hide the text or move it off the displayed page.

thanks Rev Voodoo & esmi – sorry, I take it back. I had no idea.

Thanks shop for giving me some attention.

Thanks Voodoo & esmi for corrections

I’ll look for the right css page
