How to get rid of "discussion" etc at a static page?

  • Hi,
    I am quite new at wp and trying to build a website.
    Have done some pages – and I want them to be static, without any comment. I have unchecked the box for comment.
    But at the bottom of the pages (not the footer) it’s still stuff like
    “Discussion” “Comments” and “Trackback”.
    I do not want this to be shown.
    What do I need to to to get rid of it?
