How to get rid of [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS] appearing in Footer

    I Uninstalled Ultimate Social Media Icons and now I’ve got this annoying test displaying in the footer where the icons used to appear: [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]

    Can you tell me how to get rid of it please?

  • That’s a shortcode. It’s for outputting the buttons created by this plugin. It looks like you’ve tried to use it in a menu however, but I don’t believe shortcodes work in menus. You need to remove the last item from your ‘sub footer navigation’ menu.

    Hi Jacob. Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked the Sub Footer Navigation menu but the shortcode isn’t there.

    I managed to resolve the issue. I found the code in sub-footer-nav.php and removed it.
