• Hello everyone,
I am currently editing the website and I uploaded an mp4 video on . As you can see, there is a wide black box both on the top of the video and on the bottom, but it isn’t there when I am on “Edit Page.” Is there any way I can get those two black boxes to go away?
    Thank you,
    Mecca

  • Looking at your page with my browser inspector, I see that the video player and styling all involves “mejs” things. Is this a plugin ? All I can suggest is seeking support from this plugin or theme author.

@rossmitchell mejs refers to MediaElement.js. This is what powers all the media players in WordPress. It’s not a plugin or theme.

@meccaalim That being said, this issue does not occur when I test your video with other themes. You might have a theme or plugin installed that is interfering with the video embed. I would try switching theme to see if the issue still occurs, and if it does disable plugins until it starts working. When it does start working the last thing you disabled is likely responsible and you should contact its author for further help.

Maybe it helps to place the video in a table which has the same size as the video.
