how to get rid of the grey borders…

    I found some very useful threads on getting rid of the extra white space via the padding options but now there is this grey border around my site that I don’t get the point of and would like to get rid of.

    The only issue that I can think of is that I don’t want to lose my footer stuff, which seems to be in the bottom part of this grey border. But the sides and top, it just looks ugly and I want it gone.

    Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme. Instead create a child theme for your changes. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

    Yeah I was planning on doing that after reading that suggestion in a couple of posts, as I don’t want to lose my edits.

    I’ve already got a bunch of edits to it before I realized this that I would hate to have to try and find and redo….took the post date off and changed various other things. Is there any way to carry these over to the child theme?
