• Hi All,
I am using Mystique theme on the site https://www.hariiyer.com. I want to deactivate the Twitter Widget since I Don’t tweet a lot.

I Googled and found that to deactivate a widget in Mystique > You go to the widgets page and drag the widget to the “Inactive widgets ” Area at the bottom of the page.

When I try to drag the Twitter to the inactive widgets area, instead of removing Twitter from the active widgets , it creates a copy of the twitter widget in the inactive area remembering the settings. There is no other way I could find of deleting the twitter widget.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks a lot for patient reading
    Cheers
    Hari

    Inactive Widgets

Drag widgets here to remove them from the sidebar but keep their settings.

    Hi!

I found out that on the Mystique theme you can′t get rid of the default widgets unless you add a new widget to your sidebar.

Once you add a new widget (any one of your choice), then you can remove the others you don′t want.

    Weird, isn′t it?!!

The thing is that Mystique theme doesn′t allow it′s sidebar to have zero widgets.

    Cheers!
    Paula
