How to get secondary sidebar on blog posts

  • Hello, I am trying (unsuccessfully) to get the secondary sidebar to show on my blog posts. Right now the primary sidebar is showing, even though I selected secondary in the post options. Any suggestions?

    The default configuration for a one-sidebar layout is to display the primary (left) sidebar. So, in post options, if you select “secondary” in the right sidebar widget zone, it won’t have any affect because the left (primary) sidebar is being displayed by default. If you select “secondary” in the widget zone for the left sidebar it should work. A bit confusing, yes.
