How to get share buttons open pop-up window?

  • Right now the share buttons open another webpage. I would like it to open a small pop-up window instead (a functionality I see on many other webpages) however I cannot figure out how to do this. This is not an issue with a missing WordPress Hook wp_head(), as I was assured by the theme developer it is not missing. Is it a setting or something else?
