How to get text or captions Basic Extended Album?

I think I have figured out how to get text/captions and which gallery type to select, but is there any way to improve the formatting of this text so it is left justified?

@christinabarefoottrimmer – What settings are you using for your Customization options in the IGW for that display? Perhaps a screen capture of them would be easy to provide?

@christinabarefoottrimmer – That would be the placeholder <img> tag … it looks to be formed correctly.

To “insert” a screen capture you will need to use a service that provides a link to an uploaded version … I’ve used “Jing” for PC in the past and “Monosnap” for Mac now.

Also, adding some custom CSS should help with the text alignment … try something like:

.ngg-gallery-thumbnail span { text-align: left; }

As far as the

.ngg-gallery-thumbnail span { text-align: left; }
or do I add { text-align: left; } before src= ?

@christinabarefoottrimmer – You could add the line of CSS I provided above in Gallery > Other Options > Styles … click on (Show Customization Options) and then copy the CSS after all other text in the box. Then scroll down and click the Save button.

That should work to left align the text for you.
