How to get that simple elegant slide show in another theme

    It’s me again! Joel I appreciate your timely response to questions in the past and have had great success with your theme so far. I have a friend who loves your theme in terms of my use but wants something a bit different looking…. which he now has… what he can’t get though is the simple and elegant slide show feature of your theme…. I have looked at the plug-in section of the theme I purchased from you but do not see a plug-in for a slide show… I am assuming then that it is a native “insert media” function in wordpress that you have modified somehow? All I know is that when he tries the native gallery in WP he gets get a top of page to bottom of page presentation of his slide show…. can you give me any hints on how I might help him achieve the same elegant effect of your slide show? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Kenneth,

    SoloFolio uses the built-in WordPress gallery. Is he trying to insert a gallery into a blog post? If he is, that is likely the issue. SoloFolio galleries only display as slideshows in pages.

    To answer you question more accurately, the SoloFolio gallery is coupled directly into the theme. It is not available, or possible, to be used with another theme.
