How to get thumbnails to use HTTPS URL

  • DG Version 4.4.2; WP 4.8
    Our site runs under HTTPS. Some DG paths for icons are HTTPS, but most are HTTP. How can we get DG to produce all HTTPS?

    DG doesn’t store full URLs for icons, only a relative path which is combined with the configured site URL. So if the WordPress site URL is not using HTTPS then DG won’t either, even if your server is configured to support HTTPS.

    Can you provide an example of where both HTTP & HTTPS URLs exist for icons? I would have said that wasn’t possible… Only thing I can think of is that there’s a plugin on your site changing the baseurl back and forth between HTTP and HTTPS, but that seems unlikely.
