How to get to the Admin panel?

    I am absolutely new, so please don’t laugh. After spending days getting WordPress installed correctly (I think). I received a nice email with my user id and password. I clicked on the link to my wordpress site, and can’t find a way to login as Admin. I just see the default plain theme with the one post I set up yesterday.

    I see no area where I can log in. I feel like an idiot, but I can’t find a way!

    anytime you are on your front page, just put the following after what it is in your browsers URL field:

    /wp-admin

    you can also use:

    /wp-login.php

    You can even bookmark either of those pages.

    If this is a brand new install, with the default theme, there ought to be a link in the sidebar that says, “Log in”. Look under the bolded “Meta”. For now you can just follow that link.
