    Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to link a variation with a price,

    For example:
    Small: +$0
    Medium: +$0
    Large: +$0
    X-Large: +$5
    XX-Large: +$10

That way, if I have 500 sweaters, I would just have to change the value of a size so that it applies to all items. Instead of having to change every sweater one has one.

The example is a simplified version of my products.

In my case each item has a potential of 4 attributes that can have 25 options (for 3 of them), of which several can increase the base price of the item.

There are about 120 articles on the website, and with my current variations I have between 3,750 and 9,375,000 variations to make.

That’s huge, and it’s not to mention that prices can change overnight and everything has to be redone.

So if there’s an answer to my question or some other solution that can help me, that would be great.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi @jeremygaouette,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The feature you’re searching for is included with Product Add-Ons (https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/) which is an extension of the WooCommerce.com marketplace. I found a section in the plugin documentation that shows how these add-ons work:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/product-add-ons/#section-17

If you have any pre-sales questions on this product, please contact us at:

    https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/#sales-form

From there, click on the tab “I have a question about a specific extension or theme I’d like to purchase.” We will be able to help you further there.

Just so you know, we offer a 30-day refund policy so you can test out the extension with your requirements and make sure it works for you. Here are more details on the refund policy: https://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @rainfallnixfig,

    Sorry for my late answer.

I have used Product Add-Ons before, but unfortunately there are too many missing features that I would need. Here is the list of things I would need to have:

    – Set a price per variation
    – Being able to globally modify this price
    – Put a different SKU for each variation
    – Being able to choose the variations that will be available for an item
    – To be able to select by default the variation selected by the user

With product Add-ons it is impossible to put SKUs by variation.
It is also impossible to deploy variations globally and display only the ones you want (unless you overwrite the old add-ons, which would amount to making variations one article at a time, which I want to avoid).
Nor can we choose the variations selected by default.

I could be wrong, if so let me know.

Thanks again, looking forward to hearing from you.`

    Hi @jeremygaouette,

We do not provide support on this forum for the WooCommerce.com marketplace extensions, including Product Add-Ons. If you have questions on how to complement that or any other marketplace extension with your requirements you’d want to contact us internally via the link provided above.

Missing features can also be added using custom code and for this, we highly recommend consulting the services on our customization page – https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Best regards.

    Hi @rainfallnixfig,

    If I understood correctly,

It’s not possible to do what I want with just the Variation Swatches?
Do I really have to add custom code to do what I want?

    Hey @jeremygaouette,

Each variation can have a price assigned but what you’re wanting to achieve doesn’t seem possible with just the default variable product features in WooCommerce. However, have a look at the documentation for more information.

The alternatives are to use an extension that can do everything you are looking for or use a customized solution. In the latter, custom coding would be necessary.

That said, I can also recommend posting on the following channels where many Woo developers hang out and may have good recommendations for you:

    Best.
