How to globaly disable the ”News & Update” Metabox

    Since the new update, there’s a terrible new metabox in our dashboard, and we do not have the option for disable it in every site account.

    My clients are just starting to complain me why there is this new buggy box in their dashboard, even in Author accounts. I Cannot manage to individually ho to every site and every account to disable it, it should be off by default, I even have the pro version of the plugin for my agency.

    Since it’s on Free version changelog, I did not see the necessity of open a ticket. And I guess this shoud be public, since a lot of happy addons users may be searching for this.

    Hello @aurangajeb. It’s one possibility, but it’s not the efficient way to do this. I Have one site with more than 50 authors, and I cannot enter one by one to disable this. Please next update add an option to disable this in plugins settings (At least for us that pay for the pro-version) like almost every plugin does. I’m from a non-english speaker country, and my clients do not like to see English word in their screen, it’s anti-professionalism.

    Those kind of ”news” metabox in wp dashboard are always inconvenient in any plugin. When someone wants to be in touch of something, they just search for it, for example: I’m already subscribed to Happy Addons newsletter in my email to receive news about new features.

    Please, consider this solution to be discoursed by the Devs teams.
