And be sure to get a child theme set up before changing anything. Then you can ADD CSS to the child theme style.css file – which will override the existing parent theme CSS. A browser tool like Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools will be VERY useful in working with CSS.

Sad to say , it has been three months, yet there is no complete proper answer to that question from the developer of that theme. I know the procedure, but not the coding bit.

Basically you can write your own CSS and add it to your child theme. It will override the parent’s CSS.

I like to have the right sidebar (sidebar1) to be of equal width as the left sidebar (sidebar2). As the result to have a wider content area.

If you have used the plugin as above, you can add these two pieces of code to override existing styling:

  margin-right: 20rem;
}

#sidebar-primary-wrap {
  float: right;
  margin-right: -18rem;
  max-width: 100%;
  width: 18rem;
}

These adjust the width of the content and the width of the right sidebar to match the left
