Hello, I saw this post and a few others and edited the download slug from functions.php , but now where ever the old slug is being used its showing a 404 , is it possible that i setup a redirect so :
site.com/downloads/product1 may redirect to site.com/products/product1 etc

If that is not possible changing ‘downloads’ slug is kind of out of question … which should be doable when WP and EDD are flexible , any guidance will be appreciated

    thanks

You should be able to setup a redirect using any kind of plugin that can do custom redirects.

I believe perhaps a SEO plugin, if you use any might have a feature to set up custom redirects built in.

thanks for replying which gave me an idea to setup htaccess redirect

    Redirect 301 /downloads/* https://site/products/*

    works fine
