how to handle a lot of media files in the uploads folder

    Depends on your server.
    ext4 filesystem may have some performance impact on 30K+ files in folder
    Its better idea to split media library into multiple folders

    thanks. can the folders be done manually or ideally any best plugin to manage by proper folders, not just taxonomies.
