    Hi @mikestamford,

WP Offload Media Support Team here. Thanks for reaching out with your query, we would be happy to assist!

It shouldn’t take that long for a page to load, even with a lot of records. If WP Offload Media is deactivated temporarily, how fast would the page load?

It’s also possible that there is a conflict with another plugin or a custom function in your theme. If you have a staging site, you can try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty Three, and deactivating all other plugins, to see if there’s an improvement.

“Can I delete some rows in postmeta?”
    — Hmmm do you want to delete rows to improve page load? I don’t think it will help. We have a postmeta record with meta_key “amazonS3_cache” that the plugin uses to help speed up the rewrite function. The cache stores the URL rewrites so that the plugin doesn’t continually checks the server to rewrite the URL.

“or you had some query to help me about replace all real-offload-path to post content then delete as3-items, metapost or something you can help to”
    — I’m not sure I understand. Could you give us more information about what you’re trying to do?

    Looking forward to your response!

    Hi @mikestamford,

Thank you for your response. Can you kindly confirm if adding a new post or some actions via the admin panel is still slow when WP Offload Media is temporarily deactivated?

If the speed improves, please activate the plugin again. Then try enabling WP_DEBUG, and loading pages in the admin panel where the slowdowns are. Kindly share any related errors from the debug.log file, if created. Please also check for any errors from the browser console.

Otherwise, if the issue persists, this would indicate that there’s another reason causing it. This would be outside our support scope.

You may need to optimize your database, or your site in general, via existing optimization plugins. You may also take a look at WP Buffs for WordPress related help.
