how to have a different url and page for same post?

    I’m working to build a word press site for my wife ,that makes jeweleries.

    My “problem” is like this:
    Our current line is about 25 products,but they can be displayed in more than on category,lets say a ring could be displayed in the “get married” category and the “special offers” category.

    Is there a way to have a different page=URL that is actually different and will be indexed by search engines, instead of writing the post a couple of times for different categories?

    Using the permalink options displaying
    “www./…./category-name/post”
    won’t generate two different pages as in the category-name it will put the first category,so although I put the post in two categories,it will have the same permalink…

    Is the a way to get this solved the “easy” way?

  • This is called canonical issue, two urls in a site contains the same content, but latest wordpress handles this issue by itself practically reducing your stress on this department. So I would say don’t worry about the same content appearing in two different locations of your site as search engines will only index one of those pages.
