I’m using excerpts on my home page, and now I want to add a Page called “Blog” that will show complete posts and have the same template that I’ve set for permalinks, archives and categories. Is there a way to do this?

Can anyone figure out how this site is accomplishing excerpts on the home page that link into a blog – I noticed their blog in a different directory – blog.designpublic.com. How are they pulling code in both places?

    Thanks for any help ??

I have a question that is vaguely related to this one. I’m finally realizing that not every new theme creator replaces every element (page.php, links.php, for ex) that WordPress default uses. I think. (I’m cool with CSS and html, but the php stuff is new for me)

I’m using this theme and I can’t seem to identify the .php file for the additional static “Page.” Isn’t it usually Page.php? The “Page” I created shows at https://jr.chicanas.com/?page_id=3 and it seems like the default Page structure includes the “post” component, which I’d like to get rid of. But I can’t identify the basic php file underlying this page in the source code, or in my content files….I think I’m missing something basic here….?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much,
    s.

Kegan, here’s a related plugin, the “opt-in” blog post at https://www.semiologic.com/software/opt-in-front/
