How to have featured image but not on your posts or homepage

  • This may be a confusing question, but I want to be able to have a featured image for my blog posts (for purposes such as linking to other websites, for example, bloglovin’), but I do not want the images to show up on my home pages or my blog posts. Is this possible to do?

    can you share some screenshoots explaining how you need the functionality to be?

    bloglovin wants me to signup to access further and I am not a fan of signing up unless it is required.
