    mydomain.com/Blog

I want to have it that when people arrive at my blog

The first thing they see is like a static page but then underneath their will be recent posts.. best example i can give is this

    anyone comment on this please?

    eddy,

If I understand you correctly, you want to do what I’m considering. The top part of the page ‘stays’ where it is and then the blog format continues underneath it.

I think you might try coding the ‘page’ template to show your static stuff. I’m looking into this now…I’ll let you know what I figure out.

Have a look in the plugins from memory there is a plug called wp sticky or similar that may do the job. haven’t used it myself so you might like to let us know how it goes.
    Cheers
