If you create a category called News and another called events, you can file posts under each of these new categories as needed. WordPress will then automatically generate a pages listing all of your News posts and all of your Events posts on demand.

i already have categories and i dont see any auto pages seperating the two? if you click new and events tab youll see they are all there, because thats the main post page, but i want to make another post page idk how to do that. Please help

You need to add two category tabs – one for the posts you’ve put in the “News” category and one for the posts you’ve put in the “Events” category.

If you’ve already assigned each of your posts to those categories, you need to have a way to access it from the front page; listing your categories will do that.

i have a pageline staionpro theme

If you want News as page so create a file page-news.hp and paste same code form page.php file.

If u want to display all post under News category so create a file category-news.php and paste the same code from archive.php file.

Generally to create a category it’s in the “POSTS” section of the wordpress control panel towards the top left.

I’m trying to follow along. I am new to this forum and find it very informative.
Along these line I think what I am trying to do may be answered by one of you.
    My site https://www.tonaboards.com

I have a static page. I then also have a few other ‘product’ pages and an ‘about’ page. What I would like to do is on the ‘about’ and product pages keep the current content I have but have the ability to blog about the topic on each page below each page’s content. I want to blog on each separate page while still having the static page while not effecting the content currently on the pages.. Is there a way to do this? If I have not made myself clear please ask and I will try to explain better. Thanks in advance for your help..
