I have a custom theme I am working on that will never need to be switched to any other theme, but I’m trying to stick to best practices and make it work on most themes if I switched.

I have a few page-{slug} templates that I have ACF fields set up on. I’m trying to figure out the best way if any to make these templates available when I switch themes. Maybe putting them all in a sub-directory and writing a plug-in to handle this?

I’ve been a bit stumped on this for a while, any help appreciated. Thank you
